A few reminders
Monday is a PA day! Students do not attend school!
Tuesday is Halloween.
A few reminders about costumes and candy.
Students are encouraged to wear orange and black or their costume.
Students are not allowed the following at school.

no clown costumes
The days following Halloween students should remember to bring a healthy snack for their morning snack. Candies will not be allowed for morning snack. As well please remember that we are a reduce the risk school and do not send any Halloween treats with peanuts or nuts.

Thursday, November 2nd is picture retake day. If your child did not get their picture taken on picture day please send a note to remind the teacher to send them for their picture. If you are unhappy with the proof your child received please send the proof in with your child with a note asking the teacher to send your child for a retake.
NEWS FROM THE PEWS
EDGE KICK-OFF IS FINALLY HERE and we are calling all superheroes!!! If you are in grades six to eight, and love to have fun with friends and make new ones at the same time, come out this Friday, October 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 at St. Mary's Church. Edge is a middle school ministry where the youth meet once a month learning about the richness of their faith in a fun and dynamic way. Random fact: Canada has the longest coastline of any country in the world. Bring this random fact on Friday for your chance to win a fantastic prize! St. Mary’s Church Family Halloween Dance is this Saturday, October 28th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
Tickets available at the door $5/ea or $20/family.
Wear your favourite costume and dance the night away to a great DJ!! There will be prizes and lots of food.
Invite your friends and enjoy family fun indoors!! See you there!!!
