Dear Parents and Guardians,
This morning our school was made aware of a perceived threat on social media related to another school in our general area. As a precautionary measure, our school was placed in a hold and secure for a brief time this morning. A hold and secure means that all exterior doors are locked, but classes continue within the school as normal.
Barrie Police Services investigated the incident and advised us that there was no threat to students at our school and the hold and secure was promptly lifted. The students and staff were safe and secure at all times. Please feel free to contact the school directly should you have any questions or concerns.
